St Helens Youth Brass Band (SHYBB)
Now in our fifth decade, if you are aged 4-19 St Helens Youth Brass Band is the perfect community to begin, develop or share your journey in playing percussion and brass instruments.
All players from complete beginner to advanced will find a home here where you can be nurtured to reach your full potential.
Everyone is welcome and we celebrate your individual pathway through music whilst providing a safe community for you to make friends, experience performances, competitions and tours. The memories will last your lifetime.
St Helens Youth Brass Band takes its duty and obligation to protect children and young people extremely seriously. Our Lead and Deputy Lead Safeguarding Officers have up to date training under the Brass Bands England 'Band Safe' initiative which adopts the advice of the NSPCC Safe Network programme for all safeguarding policies and procedures used by the band.
