Open Day 18th April

This April we're hosting an open day and everyone is invited.
The band will be putting on special sessions of our pBand, which is aimed specifically at 4-10 year olds who've never played music before, they'll get to learn about timing, playing their first notes, and James Brown! These sessions will be running at 10:30, 11:00, 11:30 and 12:00, and will last 30 minutes each. Whilst your waiting you'll be able to have a go in our 'brass zoo' and try our full collection of brass and percussion instruments - see how long you can hold a note for on a Trombone, or how low you can play on our Tubas!

On top of this, all of our regular rehearsals will be ​open for you to join in (or listen to, if you'd rather). Our Junior Entry level band (C-band) starts at 11:00, and anyone in primary school is welcome. Our Training Band (B-Band) is open from 09:30 and anyone grade 2 upwards is welcome to join in. Our Youth Band (A-Band) starts at 10:30 and anyone who's grade 4 or above can come along and try it out.
